Power Yoga Teacher Training – 200 Hour RYT

Training Sessions held on Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sundays
MELT Ladera Hot Yoga believes authentic teaching comes from a deep personal experience. Students will learn a MELT 1.5 Flow sequence, posture breakdown, alignment, adjustments, breathing techniques, Eight Limbed Yogic Path, Yoga Sutras, anatomy, the business of yoga and much more. MELT Ladera Hot Yoga is a Registered Yoga School.
$2,500 for MELT Members ($2,750 for Non-Members)

Sandy is a Yoga Alliance certified instructor. Sandy began her yoga journey in 1999 as she was looking for a way to cross train with her love of tennis. Little did she know, she would find so much more. As her practice evolved she decided that she should share with others her new found love, the practice of yoga, through teaching. In 2008, she received her 200 hour yoga alliance certification through At One Yoga, in Scottsdale, AZ, where she trained with John Salisbury and Alex Austin in the Ashtanga style and Lanita Varshell in the Viniyoga style. She has also had the opportunity to practice and train with other great yogis like, Dharma Mittra, Seane Corn, Jason Crandall, Rod Stryker, Rolf Gates, Kathryn Budig and Wade Morrisette.
RYT – Coach
Michelle started her yoga journey in 2005. With her athletic background as a former figure skater and triathlete yoga was a perfect addition to her training regimens. After trying Bikram Yoga for the first time with Jason Winn, she instantly fell in love with the physical challenge, but not long after found the benefits of the emotional and spiritual aspect of the practice leading to a new found passion. Michelle completed her 200 Hour Yoga Alliance certificate through MELT Ladera Hot Yoga in 2014, and completed Hot Power Fusion and Cardio Sculpt training in 2015. Her intention as a yoga teacher is to challenge students physically, mentally and emotionally so that they can take what they learn on their mat into their daily lives. In addiction to yoga, Michelle has been in the health and fitness industry for almost 20 years. She graduated from University of New Brunswick, Canada with a BA in Kinesiology. She is a former Professional Figure Skating coach of 20 years working with skaters of all levels on and off the ice, as well as a former certified fitness instructor and personal trainer working in gyms, homes and running my own boot camps on the beach.
